Join Cornwall Surf Academy to learn how to ride the waves! The academy is located on the stunning National Trust beach of Holywell Bay, Newquay. All transport is provided to get you there and back from Plymouth.
You’ll spend a day on the beach and in the sea with fully qualified surf GB qualified instructors in a very special and unspoiled location. Boards and wetsuits are provided, all you’ll neeed is a swimming costume towel and refreshments for the day.
With the support of our beach lifeguard trained instructors you’ll learn the two main things you need to know about this incredible sport – how to catch a wave and how to stand on the board when you’re up there! You’ll start by learning on dry land (the beach) and then move into the shallows. Safety is a priority for us, so you’ll be given plenty of instruction and practice before you head out into the waves.
Surfing is a thrilling activity that could be akin to a form of mediation on the water. You’ll get fit, have fun and may well end up totally addicted to this incredible sport. The rush when you first stand up will be something you never forget!
